Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists

The Work of Art program is a professional development curriculum developed by Springboard for the Arts to teach business skills to artists in all disciplines. Artists can take the whole series, customized combinations, or individual workshops that best suit their needs.

This series will be facilitated by a cohort of Central Coast artists as part of the Central Coast Creative Corps program. Learn more about the workshop facilitators here. The series is free and open to the public.

Artists (ages 18+) are welcome to use of our Art Depot for these relaxed drop-in sessions. Artists are to bring their own supplies and works in progress. Work tables and

Artists (ages 18+) are welcome to use of our Art Depot for these relaxed drop-in sessions. Artists are to bring their own supplies and works in progress. Work tables and seating will be provided.

These drop-in hours are an opportunity for artists & makers to drop-in to use our space to create, work on works in progress, and connect with other artists. *These are not instructor led workshops.

Dates & Times: Every Thursday, 6-8 pm, Jan. 11th-Mar. 21st (excepting Feb. 8th & 22nd)

Location: The Art Depot, 35 5th Street, Ste D, Downtown Hollister

Other Important Details:

  • Ages: 18-adults
  • Materials: While limited materials are available at the Depot, artists are expected to bring their own materials and projects
  • Cost: $15 suggested donation
