Open Studios
The San Benito County Open Studios Art Tour has long been an annual event that brings together artists, community members, visitors and local businesses for a self-guided tour of artists’ studios throughout the county.

What are the dates for the 2026 tour?
Hours: 11am – 4pm
Who can apply?
How much does it cost to participate?
Established Artist ($100)
or if you will be participating in a group space as an
Emerging Artist ($45)
Is Open Studios juried?
How much artwork do I need to have completed at the start of the tour?
A minimum of 15 original pieces in the selected medium under which you were juried.
What are the benefits of being an Open Studios artist?
- A full weekend to welcome the public to your studio and sell your artwork.
- Increased visibility and name recognition.
- Listing in the Open Studios Artist Guide
- Listing on the Open Studios webpage, including image and hyperlink to your website.
- Social media exposure through Arts Council Facebook & Instagram pages, e-blasts, and Arts Council newsletter.
- Preparation support for marketing and merchandising your work.
- A piece of your artwork in the Preview Exhibit at the Art Depot (for Established Artists Only).
