Back to School Means Back to Art! Fall Youth Art Classes Are Here!

We’re back and ready for a creative Fall! 🎨✏️

We’re thrilled to announce that back to school also means back to art at the San Benito County Arts Council! Get your young artists ready to explore the exciting world of paints, pastels, clay, and more in our Fall Youth Art Classes.

Our engaging workshops provide a nurturing environment for students aged 5-15 to unleash their creativity. From discovering new mediums to developing existing skills, our classes offer a diverse range of artistic exploration.

 

Classes Offered:

Creating with Clay (ages 5-7 & 8-15): Mondays in September, October, and November from led by teaching artist Mari Martin. Students will learn the basics of working with clay, making their own creations and exploring painting techniques.

Youth Art Studio 1 (ages 5-7): Tuesdays in September, October, and November led by teaching artist Alma Cruz. Students will experiment with a variety of artistic mediums, from paints to pastels, clay to collage, discovering new ways to express themselves.

Youth Art Studio 2A/2B (Beginner/Advanced ages 8-15): Thursdays in September, October, and November led by teaching artist André Newman. This class is designed for students looking to learn fundamentals or build upon their existing skillsets with a variety of mediums.

Important Details:

  • Classes begin September 1st!
  • All art materials are provided for all classes.
  • Registration for each class is $65 per student per month. Siblings qualify for a $10 discount.
  • Registration must be renewed prior to the start of each monthly session.

Classes meet weekly at the Art Depot, 35 Fifth St Ste. D in Hollister for the duration of the monthly registration.
