Exciting news! The Hollister Arts Council is seeking guest curators for 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the gallery world, collaborate with a dynamic team, and shape the artistic landscape of our community.
What Does a Guest Curator Do?
As a guest curator, you’ll play a key role in designing and installing two or three exhibitions at The Art Depot. You’ll work closely with the Arts Council to design and install two to three captivating exhibitions at our downtown gallery space. You’ll participate in monthly virtual meetings, contribute your creative ideas to concept development, and assist with community engagement events, outreach initiatives, and the installation process itself. This is a truly immersive experience that will provide you with valuable insights into the inner workings of the art world.
