Studio locations must be finalized and proofed by Wednesday, February 5th. Maps, flyers and advertisements containing studio addresses will go to press immediately thereafter.

I will be sharing a Studio at the following location:
Group sites may be designated in Hollister & San Juan / Aromas for artists who need studio space, but are not guaranteed. No additional fees will be charged for group sites, although each Artist must submit an individual application and pay the Open Studios entry fee. Actual locations will be confirmed by Friday, February 7th.

APPLICATION CHECKLIST 1. OPEN STUDIOS ONLINE APPLICATION 2. Please email 2 IMAGES of your artwork as attachments only to email@example.com (300 dpi resolution JPG). Each image shall be labeled with your last name and image # (i.e. Rekedal 1, Rekedal 2). Improperly labeled images will not be viewed. Images will be used for print and electronic advertising 3. Please email an ARTIST STATEMENT (1 paragraph, Microsoft Word) and 1 HEADSHOT (jpg) to firstname.lastname@example.org. Artist info will be used for newspaper articles, social media & publicity 4. APPLICATION FEE (see below). Application fees can be sent via PayPal to email@example.com or by mail (check payable to the SBC Arts Council) to SBCAC, PO Box 692, Hollister, CA 95024. You can also call to pay by credit card at 831.636.2787. The deadline for all submissions is 5:00 pm, Friday, January 24th.
REVIEW PROCESS: All submissions will be reviewed by committee. Applications will not be considered complete until all items are received. Participating artists will be notified by Friday, January 31st.
Preview Exhibition: Friday, March 6th - Friday, April 4th / OS Reception: Friday, March 20th, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Number of pieces of artwork to be exhibited (1-3 pieces/artist) will be determined by space availability. All artwork must be ready for hanging. Two dimensional pieces must be framed with a taut hanging wire securely attached to the back. ARTWORK THAT IS NOT PROPERLY WIRED OR READY FOR DISPLAY WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE SHOW. Artwork drop-off at ARTspace Annex, 217 Fifth St., Hollister, will be 9 am - 12 pm on Sunday, March 1st. During artwork drop off, artists will enter into an Excel Sheet the title of each work, media, and price (if for sale). Artwork must be picked up from the Annex on Monday, April 13th and Tuesday, April 14th from 9 am - 12 pm.
