The San Benito Arts Council announces the cancellation of the Open Studios Kick Off Party on Friday, March 20^th based on recommendations from the San Benito County Health Department.

The Open Studios Kick Off Party, a favorite event of the year, attracts guests of all ages, including youth, pregnant women and older adults, and we are committed to protecting all of our guests, artists and members, especially the most vulnerable.

The Arts Council will instead be hosting “Open House Hours” from 1-4 PM on Saturdays, March 21^st & 28^th, at the ARTspace ANNEX, 217 Fifth Street in Hollister, so visitors can come view the Open Studios Exhibition at their leisure while still avoiding large gatherings.

As of now, the Arts Council still plans to proceed with the Open Studios Art Tour on Saturday & Sunday, April 18^th– 19^th from 10 AM-4 PM and will continue to monitor the situation and follow County guidelines as they evolve.
