Opening Reception and Artist Panel Discussion
Join us for a memorable evening at the Art Depot on Friday, October 11th, from 6-9 pm. The event will kick off with an engaging artist panel discussion from 6-7 pm, where participating artists will share their insights and inspirations behind their self-portraits. Following the discussion, enjoy a lively celebration from 7-9 pm, featuring delicious food, drinks, and live portrait drawing.
Workshops to Ignite Your Creativity
“Soul Searching” is more than just an exhibition; it’s an invitation to embark on your own artistic journey. We are offering a series of enriching art making workshops led by talented local artists, as well as an author talk and book reading designed to help you explore self-portraiture and unlock your creative potential.
- Enrique’s two-part workshop on October 16th and 17th learn to capture not just a likeness, but the very essence of your subject.
- Francesca’s workshop on October 23rd will explore facial anatomy fundamentals.
- Rosanna & Amanda’s Author Talk and Book Reading on November 7th will explore identity, offering a unique perspective on self-expression through the literary arts.
