This summer camp meets 3 consecutive days at the Art Depot, 35 5th Street, in downtown Hollister.
In this camp, we’ll be experimenting with new ideas and a variety of materials while thinking creatively and developing a unique artistic style. Participants will create an original piece of art painted onto a repurposed skateboard deck.
July 1-3, *Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Ages 6-8, 9:30-11am
Ages 9-teen, 12-1:30pm
Registration fee is $65/student/ 3-day camp. $10 sibling discount for siblings enrolled in the same week’s camp-sibling may be enrolled in the other age group’s session.
Space is limited and students must pre-register for the camp online, no drop-in students will be admitted.
Scholarships are available for qualifying San Benito County students. Please contact Heidi at 831.636.2787 or at heidi@sanbenitoarts.org to learn more.

Featuring artworks by over 30 regional artists, California Dreamin‘ explores the idyllic and often wistful imagery associated with our Golden State’s summer days. From the golden hues of sunset on the beach to the intricate patterns of a summer quilt, the exhibition captures the diverse experiences and memories that define the California Dream. Each piece in the exhibition narrates a unique story of summer through various mediums.

This summer camp meets 3 consecutive days at the Art Depot, 35 5th Street, in downtown Hollister.
In this camp, participants will find out what it takes to create large-scale public art as they work collaboratively to create and paint a mural panel. Students will learn how to use tools and techniques of muralists as they create a bold, eye-catching design.

Ages 9-teen, 12-1:30pm

This summer camp meets 3 consecutive days at the Art Depot, 35 5th Street, in downtown Hollister.
In this camp, students will create 3D sculpture out of air dry clay. This camp includes hands-on studio time during which students will learn how to plan and complete hand built sculpture using slabs and pinch pots. All materials for these projects will be provided.

Join us for our 8th annual Art of Eating: A Farm to Table Benefit for the Arts, featuring a 4-course meal prepared by chefs Carlos Canada and Nancy Sorgatz, local wine & beer and world-class entertainment in the gorgeous surroundings of Paicines Ranch. This event blends the worlds of art, culture, agriculture and community through the art of eating.
This year’s dinner takes place from 5-8 pm, Sunday, July 21st at Paicines Ranch.
All proceeds from the event will support the Arts Council’s Arts in Education Program, benefiting over 8,000 local students every year in San Benito County.

Paint Party Camp includes hands-on studio time during which students will learn how to mix primary colors with tints, tones and shades to create 3 different works of art. They will follow step by step instructions to create an original piece of art. All materials for these projects will be provided.
